Hola!

We’re David and Stephanie, the husband-and-wife team behind OLA.

David is an expert in traveling throughout Latin America. He is a beloved middle school Spanish teacher, who has taught for 21 years and is known for educating and inspiring more than 200 students every day. He also coaches the school’s nationally ranked surf team, combining his passion for surfing, travel, and working with students.

Stephanie keeps everything organized and makes all the behind-the-scenes magic happen. She is an experienced traveler, a yoga and meditation teacher, and has a background in traveling with students throughout Europe and Latin America. She helps keep our students happy, healthy, and engaged while making sure every trip runs smoothly.

OLA means “wave” in Spanish. Our intention for every adventure is to create a wave of growth, learning, and connection that stays with each student long after they return home.

To make this happen, our four core principles for every student adventure are to create meaningful connections, experience new cultures, build confidence, and learn through service.

Together, we have led more than 20 student trips, and we’re excited for our 2027 season! We love discovering new places, meeting new people, and creating meaningful adventures—and we can’t wait to travel with you.
