• Experience the Maya culture firsthand with a private pottery workshop led by our local Maya friend Don Pablo, offering a personal connection to traditions passed down through generations.

We get to put our driving skills to the test as we traverse across a lush plantation in vintage Land Rovers! Our Mayan friend, Rex, guides our group to the historically famous Hacienda Uxmal (1683) sharing the stories of his ancestors.

We visit another historic hacienda: Hacienda Mucuyché, taking in the beautiful architecture and vibrant grounds. There are two majestic cenotes on the property we will be guided through as well as some of our favorite local cuisine.

• Journey by private horse-drawn cart through the Yucatán countryside to discover many pristine, hidden cenotes—natural freshwater pools tucked within the region’s idyllic landscape.

• Enjoy swinging from a trapeze, rope swing, and leaping (maybe even surprise yourself with a back flip!) from dramatic cliffside platforms into several spectacular open-air cenotes.

• Discover Mérida by horse-drawn carriage, winding through the city’s charming historic streets and elegant plazas.

• Savor authentic Yucatecan cuisine while taking in the vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors.

• Experience Mérida’s rich architectural heritage, from its striking Spanish colonial buildings and French-inspired facades to its magnificent historic cathedrals, accompanied by the sounds of local musicians and the captivating rhythms of traditional Yucatecan dance.

• During our visit to a local school, we have the opportunity to connect with children in the community, share games and laughter, and deliver much-needed supplies.
